Tag and Journal Page

Hello Everyone and thank you for calling in at Jumbled Crafts.


At Tag Tuesday this time our teamie Joan is hosting the challenge and she has chosen the theme Things with Wings so long as this isn't birds. I hope you will join us with the your take on the theme.

My third tag for the challenge is butterflies so more conventional than the first 2.

Art Journal Journey has the theme Magical Mystery Tour and lovely Hazel is their host this time.


What a magical journey it would be to have all four seasons in one day. I can't get the Sting song out of my head now :0(

With her smile as sweet as a warm wind in summer 
She's got me flying like a bird in a bright June sky 
And then just when she thinks that I've got her number 
Brings me down to the ground with her wintry eye 
That's my baby 
She can be all four seasons in one day

    Your page is so beautiful Chrissie and it is a lovely idea to have four seasons all in one day although I think I might get a bit fed up of having to keep changing my clothes, your butterfly tag is beautiful too.

    I love the fabulous page with 4 Seasons in one day. We've had two so far today a frosty early morning and now spring sunshine and its only 12 noon.
    Its a gorgeous butterfly tag as well.

    I still am having trouble with my blog. You say it looks OK, but I'm sure you noticed the blogs I like to visit icons are missing. I can't seem to add any, either.

    I adore your tag. It's beautiful. I especially like it because it IS traditional.

    I really enjoyed your AJJ piece, too. I think Sting must have lived in Kansas, because we really HAVE had all four seasons in a single day here before. Just ask our weather people (grin).

    Chrissie, your 3rd (wow!) tag for "things with wings" is beautiful. The quote is awesome. So I had to Google to find out who said/wrote it: Rabindranath Tagore. Since I have no idea who that is, you've given me more "homework!"

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life. Art Journal Journey are still drawing me in with the artists inspired theme so here is yet another page for the challenge there.  This was inspired by Damien Hirst though years ago I didn't feel inspired by his work at all when I saw some of it for real at the Liverpool Tate Gallery. We had gone there to see the wonderful Rodin sculpture 'The Kiss' which graced the entrance to the Gallery. Then we strayed into the next part and a whole wall was covered in dots.
