T is for Tag Tuesday and Inchie
Hello Friends and Followers. Nice to have you pop in today and thank you for your visit.
At Tag Tuesday this time Wilma our teamie has chosen Cake as the theme
I went straight out of the cake tin and into a Goth Wedding where the couple can't decided which cake to choose for the happy day. We have seen a few Goth Weddings when we have visited Whitby and they are terrific events with wonderful costumes worn by all. Vic isn't keen on me taking photographs of the Goths though I am sure they wouldn't mind. If you dress as they do I would think you crave attention. Their clothes and make-up are amazing.
At Every Inchie Monday this week the theme the animal Fly
As I have only being the heads of all the animal inchies this year I found a drawing of a fly's head--yuk. The colour choices are mine and may not be real
Happy T Day if you have arrived from Altered Book Lover blog where Elizabeth and Bluebeard invite everyone to join in on Tuesday with a drink related post- or part of a post in my case today.
so we tried a couple.
This is Vic at a cafe in Hornsea. We never could find anywhere we wanted to have a drink there but now places have sprung up. More details and pics another time. The teapot was so heavy I couldn't pick it up. I look forward to visiting all my Tuesday friends later.
Have a great day everyone
Love Chrissie xx
Lovely tag for TT, that's a great idea, made me smile. But I must agree that flies are a strange choice for inchies! Vic looks gorgeous with the tea-pot, great photo. Happy T Day, and look after yourself. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThe Idea is very nice from Tag!!!!the animal is great!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Day Elke
What a fun tag. I agree. Goth weddings are really different, but I enjoyed the comradery that was shared among the wedding party and guests. I think your tag is quite adorable.
ReplyDeleteThe fly is a bit odd for an animal. This is one I would say I'm not fond of. Sorry, but you've had 25 or so before this that were great. This one, I'm not crazy about, although it is well done. I guess I'm just not fond of flies.
Vic looks so gentlemanly as he pours your tea. That pot looked heavy to me, too. Glad you had a manly man around to help.
Thanks for sharing your tag, your inchie, and your tea with us for T this Tuesday.
Hi Chrissie, I like your take on CAKE - I must admit I have never seen a Goth wedding, but those cakes look right to me! Your fly inchie is so intriguing - just like a magnifying glass has been used. Good on you Vic - nothing like a good cuppa!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to just do the flies head, horrible things. Love the Goth tag.I wouldn't be able to pick that teapot up either.
ReplyDeleteHugs Wendy xx
Fabulous Goth tag Chrissie and your Fly inchie is amazing and pretty scary ha ha.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

ReplyDeletehappy t-day!
A great Goth idea on that tag. Flies for inchies!? Wow !
ReplyDeleteA great photo of your hubby. Happy T Day Hugs,Susi
My goodness that is a teapot - but I do like my tea - should get a few cups out of that one!! Love the idea of doing a fly's head and pretty colouring too - they are that iridescent green and a great tag.
ReplyDeleteGreat and very fine Goth..fab tag. always nice to have a good cup of tea ;O))
ReplyDeleteLove the goth tag Chrissie. Nice photo of your hubby sharing the tea. Good thing he was there to pour you some from that big and heavy pot:)
ReplyDeleteGreat tag, the cakes look wonderful - I'm not sure which I would choose either 😀. That is one huge teapot too - Happy T Day! J 😊
ReplyDeleteCool tag for the new cake challenge Chrissie. That could be a T day piece itself. Not sure which I would pick either, but I WILL take a cup of tea, with an one of those cakes. :) Happy T day. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI loved your Goth cake tag Chrissie, it really made me smile. I'm sure the Goth's don't mind being photographed, it all part of who they are. Whitby must be a good destination when they have their gatherings.
ReplyDeleteThe large teapot would be hard for me to hold as well, but I think it would hold a good few top ups.
Happy T day.
Yvonne xx
excellent gothic tag
ReplyDeleteI like that teapot. The shape attracts me, and it looks solid. It wouldn't do me much good, though, if I couldn't pick it up lol Lucky you had that strong person there to serve :)
ReplyDeleteHappy T Tuesday!
I love your tag chrissie!! I'am a fan of all things Goth... Though i'm not sure they would consider it dress up but perhaps more a way of life.. They may take themselves more seriously than we do... :) Happy happy T day! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteYour cake tag totally shocked me, Chrissie! I never would have thought of a Goth take on such a theme. Your backstory is really clever. Now that's creative!!
ReplyDeleteEwww, a fly inchie. You're just full of creepy art this week ;-)
Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen
WOW! Great wedding cake ♥ Happy T Day!
ReplyDeleteHi Chrissie, I love your Goth wedding couple, such fun and a great take on the theme. Good job you had a strong man with you to pour the tea - don't want you going thirsty.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Avril xx
Wow, your Goth tag is simply fabulous!! I love the wedding couple and their cake choices!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing gothic tag, is very very creative, Chrissie!
ReplyDeleteMar xx
I love your cake tag! The fly looks quite threatening like that! Oh my! That teapot is HUGE! Happy T day! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteThat is a unique take on the cake theme, and I like it! Happy T Day, and may all your teapots (in the future) be light enough to lift.
ReplyDeleteGoth cake is definitely unexpected...very fun!
ReplyDeleteHappy T Day!
Great projects - your imagination is limitless!
ReplyDeleteGreat post Chrissie.xx [aNNie]
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a Goth wedding, but I can just imagine the amazing costumes and outfits and hairdos. Your tag is great, as is you fly inchie. I have seen close-ups of fly's eyes, and they are incredibly beauitiful.
ReplyDeleteHappy (belated) T-Day,
Lisca
Looks fab Chrissie, I love all things Gothic too :) x
ReplyDeleteLovely post, and another outing for me to enjoy vicariously...enjoyed the close-up inchie, I think no-one really enjoyed this weeks, although Wendy Kirk's fishing fly was a great alternative. I enjoyed the Whitby comments too...I read Bram Stoker's Dracula as quite a small child (much to mum's dismay), and Whitby has always been a place of interest for me because of that reference...Dixx
ReplyDeleteClever interpretation of fly, though still pretty scary looking! Who likes flies anyway? The goth cake tag is wonderful.....
ReplyDeleteSally
Oh I love your goth tag Chrissie, so well done! The goths at Whitby are amazing aren't they. Well done with the fly too - but ewww lol xx
ReplyDeleteWhen we lived in England we went to Whitby and met some Goths! I just remember my MIL buying a penis shaped sucker (lollie) for my husband for a joke and taking pictures with a Goth couple! LOL I think the colors of your inchie are great, better than the real thing! LOL
