Digital Collage and Canvas
Hi All and Happy Easter if you celebrate this festival. Nice to have you take time to call in-thank you
I am feeling a lot better now but staying inside as the wind is very cold.
I am feeling a lot better now but staying inside as the wind is very cold.
At Moo Mania and More the theme for this challenge is Egypt
Here are an Egyptian couple erecting a new pillar in the lounge-well maybe or maybe not.
I have done a mixed project and it is for two challenges.
At More Mixed Media the challenge is Anything Goes with added yellow as an option and at Mixed Media World Anything Goes with watercolour somewhere on the project
Not sure if this a canvas, a picture or just a project.
It started out as a water colour painting of a tree as I followed a tutorial online. As it looked nothing like a tree so I turned it into a flower and cut it out to use. The card was torn from an old box and painted white then I added drops of alcohol ink onto the wet paint. Next some embossing using a stencil . This was all stuck onto a background made of torn pieces and printed quotes cut from a sheet I bought. Then it was photographed. Once on the computer I added a few digital sayings from brushes I made. Very mixed media for sure.
Have a great weekend
Love Chrissie
Both projects are great Chrissie, and thanks for linking to us at More Mixed media, that huge yellow flower is gorgeous. Glad you are feeling better. Have a nice day, take care, hugs, Valerie

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you've not been feeling well, but glad to pop in at the point you're feeling better! Love your Egyptian page - fiery colours and a great image, but you can probably guess it's your mixed media piece which has really captured my heart in this post. Wonderful textures, and I love your watercolour flower - a buttercup, I'd say - but lovely in any case!
