Tag, Basket and reminders
Hello Everyone. Hope you enjoy the weekend and thank you for calling in along the way. Rugby watching on television for me this weekend so I have colouring books at the ready while I watch.
Two reminders before I start with my projects. Still time to join us at
Try it on Tuesday with our Time for Tea theme. You can make anything you like so long it follows the theme even do artwork on a tea bag as one of my team mates did so beautifully.
Next reminder is to join us at Tag Tuesday for the Hats and Headgear theme chosen by Michele and she has arranged for a prize by lunagirl. You still have well over a week to join in our challenge
At Altered Eclectics all you have to do is alter something to join in.
Mine is a very simple alteration today.
A little basket for an 80 year old male friend who loves these biscuit treats
It started life as a small plastic box with grapes in it
I covered it in several sheets of tissue paper. Cut out the shape of the bottom in card and covered that to fit inside the bottom of the box.
The handle was made from thinner card that was bendy and that was also covered in tissue paper and some lace. More lace around the to edge of the box. Then buttons and pearls and a hand sewn flower. A quick and easy gift that would hold anything small.
At Go Tag Thursday the theme this week is Men/Boys.This is my second tag for the theme
Have a great day
Love Chrissie xx

ReplyDeleteThe basket is such a good idea for an economic gift "bag". It's so pretty and I could see it as an Easter basket for the younger ones too! The masculine/Vintage tag is beautiful, the photo is fabulous and the little animal heads the perfect match.
