Journal pages

Hello Everyone. Hope it is sunny where you are. We have had a few beautiful sunny days though it is cold with a strong breeze. Thank you for joining my at Jumbled Crafts.

I have made a page for the Gecko Galz challenge Fairy Garden as I saw it on Michele's blog. I have never joined in there before though I have some Gecko Galz images



I painted the background in acrylics and scanned it then added the bird images from -

The fairy is a collage I mixed of images from a long time ago and they were from Outlawbydesign.

Art Journal Journal has the theme Out and About chosen by Yvonne for this month's challenge. There have been wonderful entries and Yvonne has come up with so many ideas for her pages I wonder at her imagination and creativity. I am going to finish with a page that is on the same theme as another one I made for this challenge.


I painted the background in my journal then added old photographs of me and Vic climbing mountains and reaching the summit. We have reached a few more since then but by easier methods these days.

    Fabulous journal pages Chrissie, I love the fairy page with all the super bird images.
    Your page with the photos of you and Vic is also Fab, You both look so happy out and about in the countryside, the views from the top must have been memorable.

    Your first card has a tropical feel full of vibrant colours. Love your page too, a scrapbook of your favourite photos is such a nice thing to have and peruse from time to time. (Note to self: must get on with it and make those pages!!!) Enjoy your weekend, it's windy but sunny down south. xx

    Your fairy is adorable. So glad you warned us about her. I hope to just stumble on one in my garden one day, but I doubt she will look as graceful as the one you created in your lovely journal page.

    I really like your AJJ entry, and the background sets off the photos so well. Have fun watching the Grand Prix Qualifiers today. I hope it was interesting. Here in the states, it's still all about college basketball.

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life. Art Journal Journey are still drawing me in with the artists inspired theme so here is yet another page for the challenge there.  This was inspired by Damien Hirst though years ago I didn't feel inspired by his work at all when I saw some of it for real at the Liverpool Tate Gallery.
