Journal page, Inchie and T Day is Icecream
Hi All. Happy day to you all and thank you for making Jumbled Crafts a place to visit along life's way.
At Art Journal Journey the theme was chosen by the lovely Yvonne and we are asked to show some Out and About ideas.
I seem to spend a lot of time in our small garden so thought I would do a flower page. The flowers were die cut from card and the leaves die cut from green felt of different colours. White pen was used here and there to brighten up the black page in my album.
At Every Inchie Monday this week the animal/bird is heron
I find birds difficult as you can see
My posts seems to be getting a bit muddled with Tuesday being a busy blog day for me. I now have GT posts every Tuesday and the wonderful T day at Elizabeth's where she host a drinks party every Tuesday. I have decided to post my usual Monday stuff and write the the party post on Monday from now on so that I can add it when Elizabeth does her host post. She does it on Monday evening as US hours are different from ours in the UK.
Happy T Day friends and thank you Elizabeth for the invite.
Always leave room for afters
Well you have to keep up the calories don't you? There are lots of places in our seaside town to have wonderful treats so we do this when it is a dismal wet day. A good cup of coffee and and a sweet that sparkles is all you need as a pick me up.
Have a great day
Love Chrissie xx
You made a beautiful Garden inspired Out and About page again and a lovely inchie and I love to see this nice photo of you! ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteOh yes "Bananensplit" as we call it in german is just wonderful and can sparkle one's day for sure.
Happy new week to you and
happy T-Day ahead and
thank you once again for all your lovely support to Art Journal Journey!

Well Chrissie, all of that on your plate looks scrumptious....calories +++.
ReplyDeleteLove your gorgeous inchie and the beautiful black and purple creation, so lovely.xx ♥[aNNie]
Your today's post is very warm and uplifting, Chrissie. Love your nature art, it speeks to me. You look so healthy and happy with the delicious dainty bit. It gets I want too ...
ReplyDeleteHave a happy, inspiring week ahead xx
Great page and inchie Chrissie. Your dessert looks very weight enhancing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful floral piece Chrissie. I love the contrast of the purple against the black background. I think your Heron is amazing, I still struggle with drawing a game of hangman! lol. Your dessert sure looks tasty, yum yum! Have a lovely Monday! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteI love your garden inspired page Chrissie, beautiful flowers and felt leaves. Its a super inchie, I wouldn't know where to begin on such a small area.
ReplyDeleteI am just salivating over that delicious dessert, I would be able to make room for one of those anytime.
Happy T day
Yvonne xx
Lovely post and journal page. Happy T Day, your snack looks yummy! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteYour flower page inspired by your garden is beautiful, I think you may have a thing for purple? The die cut flowers are so pretty and the felt leaves create a lovely texture. I'm always in awe of your inchies and how you fit so much wonderful detail in such a small space. Ice cream sounds like the perfect pick me up, yummy! Our favourite ice cream shop opens this weekend after being closed for the winter season - having seen your fantastic looking dessert, I can' wait ... Lol! :-) . Wishing you a great start to the week and a Happy T Day for tomorrow! J :-)
ReplyDeleteI agree that we need to step outside to see the beauty of the world. Your garden is fabulous and your message is loud and clear.
ReplyDeleteI love the heron. We get them near me on their way south in summer and north in winter. They arrive in droves, turning the sky so black, it's hard to tell what they are. You did a fine job, because I would have known it was a heron anywhere.
Golly, I wouldn't be a very good host if I didn't thank YOU for joining us for T. The time change has affected everyone, but soon we'll be back to only a six hour difference. I want that banana split, but more than that, I want to use that umbrella in art! Thanks for joining T this week, dear Chrissie.
ReplyDeleteLovely "violets" spread! I just can't see beyond the flowers being violets 💜 And a sweet hero - Im going to keep clear of the calories though!

Oh yes, a nice ice cream sundae would taste good right now. Yours looks delicious. I love your AJJ page too. I think using the black background is smart because those flowers really pop off the page. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteOh my! Your Heron is fabulous! I love your journal page too! I am struggling with available journalling time at the moment! I wish I could have one of those desserts…….. Happy T day! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteOh what a lovely floral page! I love the white writing on the black background. I wish I could find a white writing pen. If you live in Europe, could you tell me where you bought it please. (outside Europe it's not worth it. I pay 3 or 4 euros for the pen and about 17 eur for postage!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a yummy banana split! I am writing this at midnight, a time when I always get the 'munchies'. You've got me drooling!
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
your flower piece really pops off the black-beautiful! Nice to enjoy a bit of such a decadent dessert once in awhile. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteLovely inchie and your dessert looks fabulous . Happy T Day!
ReplyDeleteLoved your journal page very pretty
ReplyDeleteHappy T Day your dessert looks wonderful
Happy T Day
you have the most wonderful die cuts, chrissie!
ReplyDeletehappy t-day!
I love those flowers! So geometric and pretty! The heron is nice as well.
ReplyDeleteLove the purple flowers. They really seem to jump off the page. Inchies are hard as you have to economize on the space. Your philosophy about coffee and a sweet to improve a dismal day made me smile. That banana split looks glorious! Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty journal page, but an even prettier smile on your face.
ReplyDeleteI think your Heron is great.
I'm so glad it is early morning here or I would be drooling for a banana split!!
Happy T-day
Hello Chrissi
ReplyDeleteThe picture from your garden with felt is beautifully tinkered!
The bird is great even if it was hard for you to paint.
And what a treat like a banana with ice must also be times!
