Journal Page and Tag

Hello Everyone from a very sunny NE UK Coast. We walked into town along the seafront and it was so sunny on the return journey that we sat for an hour in the sun and watched the sea sparkling and fluffy clouds drifting along. It's a hard job but someone has to do it I reckon. Thank you for calling in at Jumbled Crafts


At Art Journal Journey the theme was chosen by the lovely Yvonne and we are asked to show some Out and About ideas.

I did a digital take on the theme and went for a Night Out and About with the girls.

Go Tag Thursday have Men/Boys this week and Moo Mania and More have Time so I have combined the two in a tag.


The man is an image from June at Dezinaworld15 and the background paper I made myself in PSP.

Now for more photographs of the trip to Hull I will post some of the ones from the art gallery in another post.

 The glass on the right hand side is where we were having coffee in the art gallery
Another little alley with an old pub that was closed when we walked past or we would have explored it.


This looked like something out of the ripper era and I was pleased it was day time.

      Wow--what a fabulous trip you made! Looks so interesting! Thank you for sharing the photos! The Tag is terrific - thank you very much for linking to Moo Mania & More again dear Chrissie and I love your page for AJJ - reminds me instantly of my daughter - I have to play night taxi nearly every weekend for her.

    Great journal page for AJJ, the purple reminds me of springtime and it's always nice to be out and about with the girls :-). Your tag is lovely, the background you created is amazing! Hull looks fabulous and so pretty with its shopping arcades and little alley ways. I've never been there and it looks well worth a visit! The statues, shops and architecture are beautiful, thanks so much for sharing your trip - I loved it! Hope your hubby is feeling much better and wishing you a Happy Thursday Chrissie! J :-).

    Your girls night out reminds me of the socks worn by the Wicked Witch of the East. Even those girls need to have fun!

    I must have slept through Moo Mania and More, because I didn't remember/realize the new theme was time. I love the tag. It is sort of steampunkish, I think.

    Fabulous photos of Hull. I like these better than the windmill blade installation. The shops look like they would be fun to browse, but I suspect the prices would be phenomenal. Thanks for sharing these with us today. I always love virtual tours.

    This looks like it has the makings of an awesome, fun night out, its a fabulous page Chrissie. The colours are awesome, I am imagining a disco, when I looked at it.

    I love your journal page! What a great idea - I had a very sedate night out with friends last night!! Your tag is so clever to meet both challenges! Now…Hull…I think when we went the weather was so bad that I didn't notice much at all but then again I was only about 13! Definitely think we should go having seen theses photos! Hugs, Chrisx

Hello Everyone and thank you for the wonderful comments you left while I was away. I did have internet a few times but not for very long so I haven't been able to do my usual blog rounds. I will be back to normal now and look forward to seeing your makes. At Tag Tuesday dear Wendy chose Textures as her theme and it is going well. You still have a few days left to join us there with your textured tag so I hope to see your makes This tag is made of fabric that has metal drops on it. Haven't a clue how they do that but it was from quite a nice old tee shirt that I cut up. I used a plastic doillie and a metal adornment from a belt as well. Go Tag Thursday has Star or Stars as the theme for this week. Good to see more people joining in there as well. A bit of a tag revival going on I think. T is for Tag Tuesday and Inchie

Hello Friends and Followers. Nice to have you pop in today and thank you for your visit. At Tag Tuesday this time Wilma our teamie has chosen Cake as the theme I went straight out of the cake tin and into a Goth Wedding where the couple can't decided which cake to choose for the happy day. We have seen a few Goth Weddings when we have visited Whitby and they are terrific events with wonderful costumes worn by all. Vic isn't keen on me taking photographs of the Goths though I am sure they wouldn't mind. If you dress as they do I would think you crave attention. Their clothes and make-up are amazing. At Every Inchie Monday this week the theme the animal Fly As I have only being the heads of all the animal inchies this year I found a drawing of a fly's head--yuk. Thursday Tag and photographs

Hi All. Last post from me for a week or more as we will be visiting daughter Linda and her husband in Cumbria then off to North Yorkshire after that. Not too sure when we will be back it all depends on the weather and our energy levels. Hoping to have internet connection sometime but will catch-up when I get back if not.  At Tag Tuesday we have the Texture theme chosen by our team member Wendy. Everyone is welcome to join in with us with their take on the theme. You can use any medium you like to create your tag This tag has corrugated card and ordinary card in the form of butterflies. It has texture paste. wood, a mirror, complete with me and my camera trying to take a picture. Mustn't forget the bit of fluffy wool as a tie as well. I would like to enter this at Go Tag Thursday  where the theme this week is Anything Goes.
