Journal Page and Tags

Hello Everyone from a wet and windy NE UK Coast. The forecast looks awful for us today so it will be crafting and reading for me I think. Thank you for calling in and your encouraging comments

Linda K is hosting the theme 50 Shades of Red at Art Journal Journey

Here is a page I forgot to post on Valentine's Day. I made for the Red theme.   The background was painted then scanned it to use for this digital page and ones in the future maybe.

Go Tag Thursday has the theme Turquoise and Brown this week

I used a tag that was on a pair of gardening gloves so I added rows of ribbon to it  and the dress I cut from a magazine and added a jewel.

At Tag Tuesday we have the theme Spring Flowers chosen by Valerie.

A digital tag from me  as a reminder that you can make a tag in any way you like so long as it follows the theme. You have almost 2 weeks to join in so I hope to see you there

Have a great day

Love Chrissie xx

  1. A beautiful Valentine's page - good you found it again before the RED theme is over! Thank you dear Chrissie for so many ideas again this month for the AJJ Challenge!
The tags are both super.. I love your clever made dress tag! I hope to find time to make a tag for your new open Tag Tuesday challenge as well, even though I am not so much in tags - but will put the thinking cap on, as you always say!.
I have to do some boring housework now - after walking the dogs..our weather is obviously better than yours - but windy here!
    Happy day!

  3. Your journal page and tags are all super, and of course I especially love the floral one for TT! Thanks for making another tag for our challenge. Here we have the same weather, it is very windy and storm, and the rain came at me horizontally as I came home today after being at the doc's. Enjoy your day, keep warm, hugs, Valerie

  7. I am in AWE of your AJJ entry. It is beautiful and very romantic, whether it's for Valentine's Day or not.

Both tags are beautiful, and both so different. I like that you made one mixed media and the other digital. Both remind me of how talented you are.

  9. Fantastic red AJJ page Chrissie, romantic for any time of year.
Love your tags and the cut out dress looks lovely, but I am really drawn to the floral tag. It brightens the day, we have had the light on all day its so dark, cold and wet. Hope all is well with you.

  10. Lovely rainy/windy day crafting... the Valentines page is splendid, words and all, and I really love your digi-floral tag. Great recycling of the gardening glove tag too - I've got a whole bunch of those kinds of commercial tags, but I'm always forgetting they're there.
Stay safe and warm, won't you.

  14. Storm Doris bought us very bad rain and winds yesterday (over on the NW UK coast) so I stayed in my craftroom most of the day too :-). We have lovely sunshine today so I ran errands most of the morning and have just sat down with a hot drink. Your Valentine's page and the sentiments are wonderful and the tags are fabulous, what a great way to recycle the tag from the gardening gloves. Hope the weather has improved for you today - Happy Friday and wishing you a great weekend! J :-)

  17. 3 great makes! Your painted red background is one to keep, digitally you can transform it in any colour and I think it would be perfect for many cards/ATCs etc.. xx

  23. Tags are amazing. Do you just do themes tags or any kind like we do digital art themes. I may join you next year as have a lot going to do for my operation and after. I have saved you.
