Journal Page and Tag

It has soon got around to Friday and I hope you are all looking forward to the weekend. I will be watching rugby as usual at this time of year-only on television but it still exciting. Thank you for dropping in at Jumbled Crafts

It would be great if you could join in at the revamped Tag Tuesday where I have chosen the theme Bookworm. Our few regular entrants are going to try hard to revive the membership

At Art Journal Journey this month Linda is the host and has chosen the theme '50 Shades of Red'.

Red is so easy to work with and there really loads of different shades of red. This is a digital collage of some of red things I found in old folders on my computer.

At Go Tag Thursday the theme this week is Paris and Romance.

I made a background of chestnuts in blossom then added the Eiffel tower and a few effects. This was printed out and stuck onto a tag and I added a Kanban image I had on a sheet my daughter gave to me.

The background I made though the chestnut trees were not from a picture in Paris at all. Vic and me did go to Paris one April and the chestnuts by Notre Dame are a sight to behold, It was all very romantic for sure.

Have a great day

Love Chrissie xx

  4. Fabulous post Chrissie, with your beautifully romantic tag and very striking and gorgeous AJJ piece.
I'm in hiding on Monday (and possibly Tuesday) while the gas engineers are in doing a new boiler and radiator flushing, so will aim to make a tag then. Spending next few days moving stuff about and removing a kitchen unit so they can get to pipes :(
With the weather the way it is at present, its the ideal weekend to stay in the warm and curl up in front of the TV - have fun watching the rugby - hope you have a lovely weekend.

  5. Such a romantic scene on your tag - beautiful! The Kanban paper is gorgeous and your red page made me smile :-) You can see that you find it easy to create with red too, unlike me - it's not a colour I would use as the main attraction so I'm having so much fun experimenting this month with the AJJ challenge :-) Happy Friday and have a lovely weekend, enjoy the rugby! J :-)

  10. I am in awe of the RED entry. Shoes certainly do make a statement, don't they? Guess I'll have to wear my red high-top sneakers one of these days.

I love the tag, too. Seems so romantic and the fact that you and Vic shared that time in Paris together makes it even more meaningful.

  14. A post full of romance and passion. I don't seem to have the passion for shoes which all women are supposed to share, but I am in love with your wonderful chestnut trees. The background looks as though it's embroidered - so beautiful.

I've just noticed your gorgeous snowdrop header - just lovely. I'll see what I can manage for a Bookworm tag, but I may be jumping on another aeroplane (depending on whether we can get emergency visa arrangements), so it may not work out.
