Scary and Spooky
Hello Everyone. Nice of you to call in at Jumbled Crafts and thank you for your visit.
It is time for another challenge at Try it on Tuesday where the theme this time is Scary and Spooky. You can make anything you like so long as it follows our guidelines so do read those by clicking on the link under the banner. Pop along to TIOT to see the wonders that the team have made to inspire you.
SPIDER WARNING-eyes closed now if you really don't like spiders. I don't like spiders at all but these are only plastic.
I filled plastic gloves with treats.
The spiders I sent for on ebay and I thought they would be very small and I could make them into rings for the fingers.
I changed the faces to make some scary labels--the male one is the only photo I have of my great grand father and he looks pretty scary even before I altered him.
original photo.
Will also enter this at Dragons Lair Designs where the theme is Boo
Country View Craft with All things Spooky
Altered Eclectics where they asked for things that are changed-I changed the rubber gloves
Hope to see your scary project soon
Love Chrissie xx

ReplyDeleteThis is brilliant Chrissie, it gives a 'finger of fudge' a whole new meaning. There is nothing so frightening as old relatives, it's like smiling wasn't invented until the 1970's lol xx

ReplyDeleteThis is AWESOME, Chrissie. I simply adore how you filled the hands and created these spooky artistic pieces. For once, the spiders didn't scare me.
ReplyDeleteVery scary and spooky!! A great idea, ideal for Halloween. Thank you for joining us at Altered Eclectics this month, Jane (DT) :) x
ReplyDeleteEeek! I don't mind spiders (too much), but it's the running all over the hands which gives me the shivers, especially with those plastic gloves, so sinister! Very clever - and yes, your great-grandfather is impressively spooky both before and after altering...

Filling the gloves with sweets is a great idea - fabulously spooky looking!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea Chrissie, spiders give me the shudders, but I love fudge.
