Sun,Moon and Stars

Hello Everyone and thank you for calling in at Jumbled Crafts always nice to have you here and that you leave such lovely comments.

Today is the start of a new challenge at Try it on Tuesday and I am sure you will want to join in with our Sun, Moon and Stars theme for the next 2 weeks. The rest of team have some great ideas so pop to TIOT if you need inspiration and visit their blogs to find out more about the different projects.

 I made a plaque that is now hung on the craft room wall.


It started out with some small ATC size pieces of grey card cut from an old box. I drew my ideas in Sharpies for the sun, moon and stars challenge then stuck them onto Nestie shapes. Next I got a piece of another, stronger cardboard box and cut out the shape for the plaque. This was then covered with some left over wallpaper my daughter gave to me. It was such fun making this.

    WOW, Chrissie, this is very creative. I am a big fan of recycled products and your use of cardboard and left over wallpaper make this an ideal project.

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life. Art Journal Journey are still drawing me in with the artists inspired theme so here is yet another page for the challenge there.  This was inspired by Damien Hirst though years ago I didn't feel inspired by his work at all when I saw some of it for real at the Liverpool Tate Gallery.
