Digi Art, tag and knitting

Hi All from a very sunny NE UK coast. I expect this weekend will be very busy here as it is a Bank Holiday weekend so I hope the weather stays really lovely for everyone. Thank you for calling in today. I will be watching the Grand Prix and the Rugby League Cup Final today so that's me smiling already. Lots of knitting to do as well while I watch.


This is sheep pyjama case I knitted last weekend while sport watching


At Dezinaworld this time the Cheeky Challenge is old lace. There are lots of free digi images there that June generously shares with all so do have a look and hopefully join in.

This isn't one of June's images it is one I saved a while ago from Google of an old Balinese Grandma. I added lace head dress, borders and a frame

At Go Tag Thursday this time the theme is go bold with colour



I made a double sided tag for this as I just love the bright colours.



I used the colours above straight onto a piece of card then folded it in half.

The stamp is by elusiveimages 2007 and I bought a box of them for £3 at the car boot sale, they had never been used . Four of them are 3,5 x 5.5 inches.

    I like your tags very much, this is a clever idea, so simple and so effective. The six stamp pads look enticing too. Sheep pyjama case is wonderful, the sheep has a sweet face.

    Chrissie, I love Shaun the sheep PJ case, he looks fabulous. Its a fantastic double sided tag and the framed page looks awesome, super lace for her hair.

    Chrissie I can't believe you've knitted Shaun (the sheep) in one weekend... you're a quick worker! Love this fabulous photo and what you made with it. Great bargain you had with these stamps too! Enjoy the hot weather, close your eyes and you can pretend you're on a tropical beach...

    What a great post, with such a variety of crafty creativity. The lamb is such fun and the bold, bright colours on the tag have me smiling too. I just adore the lace headdress you've given to that magnificent Balinese grandmother - the expression on her face is one to treasure.

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life.
