Journal Page and inchies
Hi All. We are back from our trip to Wales which has been very enjoyable and relaxing. I didn't have access to the internet though Vic had on his phone so I could use that if I needed to. Hope your week has gone well and thank you for visiting Jumbled Crafts. Just caught up with your comments-thank you for leaving them.
We went on four train journeys and all were quite different. The trip up Mount Snowdon was spectacular, the trip around the lake on a small train was beautiful, the Welsh Highland train journey from Caernarvon to Portmadoc was very scenic and we had booked first class seats which are very comfortable. The last train was one we had missed out last year on our visit to Llandudno so we went there again on the bus and did the train trip on a little train that travels around the base of the Great Orme to the back of it. Well worth the trip for sure--all of them!
If you would like to see some pics of the holiday Vic has added 60 of the 400 we took here--hope the link works
At Every Inchie Monday the theme for this week is robot
and last week the theme was button which I didn't manage to post
At Art Journal Journey this month the theme has been Journey and the entries have been amazing. I really enjoyed the subject which was chosen by Erika. Difficult to resist one last entry after being on so many journeys in the past week.
I made a page in my big journal. It has some of the photographs of the train journey up the mountain. We were so lucky as the trains were all full when Vic went to get the tickets but there was a cancellation to sit right at the front with the operator. It was amazing as we could see everything at the sides and the in front of us and we had lots of space on the seat. I stuck the tickets in a pocket at the top of the page.
Have a lovely day all
Chrissie xx

Looks like a wonderful trip Chrissie, and I love Vic's photographs. He's a bit like Neil, all scenery and no people - it must be a man thing lol. I love your inchies, and your page is a great reminder of your holiday xx
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful Welsh trip - and how lovely that you've been able to incorporate some of the photos in to your pages already. Love your little inchies too.
ReplyDeleteJust been to have a quick scroll through the photos - and a big bravo to Vic - he's captured that breathtaking scenery beautifully, and the trains are magnificent. Modern train travel seems rather paltry by comparison...
