Journal Page and Inchie
Monday again already. Where does the time go? Thank you for calling in and sharing part of your day with me.
Art Journal Journey are asking for Journeys pages this month and I am enjoying recalling places I had forgotten about.
I have only been to Glastonbury once and never to the music festival though I would have loved to have gone to something like that when I was much younger. I did love the magical shops in the town with all the fairy paintings, the smell of incense and beautiful candles--is it still like that I wonder?
Every Inchie Monday have the theme Brain this week
This is the 'naughty' inchie. I knew I made it but I couldn't find it when it came to the time to take a photograph. I searched everywhere I could think of except the bin, then Vic decided to look in there for it. He found it all dirty looking and a bit bent but he took a photograph with his phone and it has decided to be sideways even though it wasn't on the phone. I have given up on it :( I bet it won't fit into the jigsaw when I come to put them together lol.
Have a nice day all
Love Chrissie xx
Lovely inchie and journal page, thanks for joining us again at AJJ. Glastonbury really is a beautiful place, shame to smother it with so much 'Kitsch'. Have a lovely day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteAh....memories of Glastonbury! It still had all those things when I went but that was about 20 years ago. Love your brain interpretation- a quick tip regarding orientation, if you go into edit on the phone there is sometimes a "turn" option.

ReplyDeleteIsn't it awful when you lose an inchie that you've spent so much time on and it's so small it could be anywhere?! Glad you found it because it is great - love that you've got all the different compartments on an inch! Plus your journal page is gorgeous with so many memories - great to look back on - I bet you had fun doing it.
ReplyDeleteThese are so good Chrissie, I've never been to Glastonbury and I'm far too old now lol. The adventures of your inchie made me laugh, I thought he was just lying down too xx
ReplyDeleteLovely journal page and inchie Chrissie, great memories too.
ReplyDeletelove the walk down memory lane. Always cool to remember places we went as a kid. How much they differ as adults. I really like the inchie, dirty or not it is very colorful
ReplyDeleteYes! Glastonbury is lovely but like you I would have loved to have been to the music festival ....just once! Glad your inchie turned up -even if it wouldn't turn round! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteLove your Glastonbury page - full of spirit and energy. Your naughty inchie clearly has a mind of its own... see what I did there?!

I have been to the festival but never the town! I really must if it is as lovely as your collage suggests (although time it carefully to miss the tourists!) . Your inchie is great for the theme.
ReplyDeleteNever been across the Pond, but your description could apply to many a place here in the States. Too many, I'm afraid. I thought the brain piece was intentional--kind of like when you're wide awake at night thinking about all sorts of things instead of what you really want is sleep. Cheryl
