Journal Page and Try it on Tuesday

Hi All. Hope you are well and thank you for joining me at Jumbled Crafts.

Art Journal Journey have For the Record as the theme for this month and it is hosted by Linda. Lots of great entries and fun to see them all in one place here

This record above all others altered my life and those of many of us at that time. I took the photograph one lunch time with my very first camera. It shows some of my classmates in summer uniform, that for most us meant we were allowed to take off our ties. The uniform dresses had just come in and were very expensive so not many had them. Back to the record. Up until we sneaked off from school to see the film, we had all been keen to learn but after that we started a 'jive club', joined youth clubs with rock and roll music, went to dance halls--you name it we did to be able to jive. This led to many other things that we weren't supposed to be doing. 'Rock and Roll' was a lifestyle not just a record.

Now for a reminder that the wonderful challenge at Try it on Tuesday has another week to go so I hope you will join in with us.

Valerie made this wonderful Mood Board and you are asked to make something inspired by the boards. You can make anything at all so long as it follows the theme.

I made another piece for this second week

I found a folder with photographs I had taken when we lived in Cumbria. The centre one is when we went to the National Sheepdog Trials and the others taken in our garden at the time. All the photographs are timeless really as each of them will occur at the same time every year and probably in the same place.

Have a great day

Love Chrissie xx
