Journal page and inchie
Hello All. Hope you enjoyed the weekend, we had a cold one with even a bit of snow from time to time though it didn't stay for long I'm pleased to say. Thank you for calling in today to see what I have made.
At Art Journal Journey the theme is For the Record and at Moo Mania More the theme is Floral so I have combined the two in this page.
I did this digital painting that shows a terrific folksie song and I always have the Terry Wogan version in mind when I think of it. I just loved to listen to his morning programme on the radio and was sorry when it came to an end. It was so tongue in cheek and my sort of fun.
At Every Inchie Monday we have BIG as the theme.
I am still doing my inchie on jigsaw pieces and did a BIG top. I bet there are some terrific ideas as there always are each week.
Have a great day. I am off out into the cold for a walk now --is that brave or stupid?
Love Chrissie xx
I loved Terry Wogan singing the Floral Dance and I love your journal page and inchie.
ReplyDeletexxx Hazel.
Colourful and vibrant song-page and nice inchie, Chrissie.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy joyful day xx
Love your fun journal page but Terry Wogan was never on my list of faves, but my Mum loved him. Great inchie, too.
ReplyDeleteOops, posted before I was finished. Cold weather here, too, with rain, sleet snow etc - just came back from my walk. Thanks for joining us at AJJ again, hugs, Valerie
DeleteGreat idea for your inchie, and the floral page is lovely. I'm with Valerie, couldn't stand Terry Wogan.
ReplyDeleteWow, your digital painting wants me to get up and dance!!!! Love the movement going on there!
ReplyDeleteLet it snow, let it snow, let it snow.... I'm going dancing ;-)
Hugs,
MiSchra ♥
Those dancing flowers are so funny. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteYour dancing flowers are lovely Chrissie and also your inchie is a little piece of art! We have the same stupid weather here and I had to taek out my winterjacket, the warm cap and the gloves again for the dogwalk... oh my.... hope spring will return soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you for another fab entry Chrissie for Art Journal Journey and Moo Mania & More!

Avril xx
love your big top inchie - great idea
ReplyDeleteWow, your journal page is gorgeous and I love that Inchie
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining us at MOO MANIA & MORE
Oh how this has made me smile! I used to love having Terry Wogan on the car radio on my 20 miles journey when I was teaching - sometimes lingering in the car if a Janet and John story was being told!
ReplyDeleteI have just had a catch up - loving your journal pages! I hate leaving a comment like this but fear if I don't I will never catch up with commenting! Hugs, Chrisx
Hail and rain mostly here, not good for April really is it, wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't soooo cold! But thankfully we have your digi page to brighten everything up and I love your inchie shapes - fabulous xxx
ReplyDeleteLove all those bright and happy colors, and that inchie is such a great choice. I actually went to the Big Top in NY City when I was little. Wonderful memories!
ReplyDeleteYour first piece is psychedelic, reminds me of a 70's style record sleeve! Great inchie too!
ReplyDeleteLove the bright colours of your fantastic page. Flower power came to mind when I saw it, those were the days.. The inchie looks amazing, so small and a great, 'big top' tent.
ReplyDeleteYvonne xx
oh my- I love the colors and the dancing flowers Chrissie!! And thank you for introducing me to a new song too. I do hope this was the last of your snow-ugh...
ReplyDeleteVery colourful interpretation of the floral dance, I'm sure Sir Terry would have loved it and your big top circus tent is inspired :-)
ReplyDeleteStay warm, we had more snow here today!
Sally
I love the colors of the floral dance how cool is that & what a great inchie!! Nice take on the theme
ReplyDeleteWonderful use of colour in your floral dance and great idea for the inchie. The sun is actually shining here but go out and your breath is like smoke coming out!!! Stay warm. Great work.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, Terry Wogan and bright florals - enough to bring a smile to anyone's face. I went to school on his breakfast show the first time around, and just loved his whimsical humour and lots of wordplay of course. Was so sad when he died earlier this year.

Oh dear. I'll be humming the Floral Dance all day at work now! Great projects!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant as always Chrissie, I love your bright, happy florals. We still have snow here, but lovely bright sunshine lol xx
ReplyDeleteDear Chrissie, those colors are enough to brighten the darkest of days. Looks like rain here today, so I could use some! I'm not familiar with the artist, but this internet thingie makes the search easy. Great idea for the inchie. Cheryl
