Journal page and digital card

Hi All! Thank you for dropping by today. It is very cold here and we had Jack Frost patterns on the outside of our conservatory windows. Not seen many of those since I was child and then they were on the inside of the windows.

I seem to be a bit stuck for ideas with normal crafting so I keep going digital which I find easier and I can do from the comfort of my armchair in front of the fire. I must be getting old I think.

At Digitally Sweet the theme is spots and stripes and at Moo Mania and More they are asking for Hearts.

I have made a Valentine card for Vic as we both love to go to Whitby and see the Goths

I have lots of the digital stamps from

but it is a long time since I used any of them.

At Dezinaworld15 the theme this week is Candlelight.


I went down a weird route and used one of 'Dezinaworld' June's free images as a background

'Her bridegroom's gravestone was lit by a single candle and Miranda was guided to it on what should have been the 100th anniversary of their wedding day. If only the fateful accident hadn't happened.'

    With all you've been going through, I'm not surprised you feel the need to create curled up in front of the television. Love your Gothic characters - great fun - and the spooky page is full of atmosphere. Funnily enough, I was looking at that quote myself yesterday, but I think I didn't use it in the end!

    Fabulous card and page Chrissie. I love your take on June's theme, spooky yet after reading your story I wanted to read more. Perhaps they had an arrangement to meet on the anniversary day, where they could be together again for a few fleeting moments.

    Love your card. But i am IN LOVE with your darkly delicious spooky bride piece, its so atmospheric and beautiful. I love how the candle is in the forground and the way the light is. Excellent digital work. Oh and btw all the images are now free. x

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life.
