Card and topper

Hi Everyone from a dark and wet NE UK coast. Looks like being a crafting day today. My hairdresser is coming about 11 am to give a trim so will catch up on the local gossip. Thank you for calling, in you are always welcome.

At Make my Monday the theme is very unusual as they was us to stamp with anything but a proper stamp.


I made a card for a neighbour's birthday


Can you guess what I used for this background?



I used the bottom of my house slippers

Now for Moo Mania and More where they would like to see your favourite stamps or images.

For me it sort of depends what time of year it is. I have just sorted out my Christmas stamps as I have decided to make some Christmas cards even though I was going to just buy charity cards this year. This is a topper as I need to buy more card now to make the actually cards.
The stamp is one of the first I bought years ago and it is from Papermania. Not sure if they still have it but the number is PMA1032. I coloured it with Promarkers.

    Cannt believe.... flower figures in slippers... and you stamp with them!
    I've some times used a carpet for that but this is really amazing. Anyway your cards are beautiful.

    Chrissie, I have so enjoyed reading your post and seeing your fantastic cards. I had a big smile when I saw what you used as a stamp. The soles of shoes will always have to be looked at with care when buying a new pair.

    Well those are clearly slippers made especially for stampers! How brilliant to think of that... I suspect my slippers (soft suede almost-socks) would make for a far less interesting image! Really love the tree card too.

    I just love that you used your house slippers to create such a beautiful background!! How clever... One thing though I really hope you either cleaned the bottom of the slipper before using it again... And I would have never thought that the bottom of a slipper could be so cute!!! Great card... Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog.
