Scrapbook Page

Hello Everyone who calls in and thank you for visiting Jumbled Crafts

Today is the half way point in our Create a Scene Challenge at Try it on Tuesday and the top 5 for the Layers challenge are posted as well so hope you will join in with us in the next week.

At Stamps and Stencils the theme this time is Remember, Remember and I am sure that none of us will ever forget the awful happenings in Paris.

My thoughts turned to 1947 where life still carried on for us after the awful events just before.

Difficult to get a good photograph of this scrapbook page as the weather is dull and dark again today. When I was about 5 years old we used to go every Sunday in summer to watch my dad play cricket for a little known local team. My aunt in the middle is now 90 and found this photograph among some she was sorting out. Looks like our family formed most of the supporters but they were very happy times and I went until I was about 11 years old. We were a very sporting family and I still love watching sport and would love to play if my knees weren't so painful
This is a clearer version of the photograph and I have highlighted my family. The names are all above their heads.

Hope you have a great day

Love Chrissie xx
