inchie and Journal page

Hi All and welcome to Jumbled Crafts. Thank you for finding time to pop in and for the wonderful comments and friendship. This is a scheduled post as I will be on a train and on my way to find a new place to live by the time it is published. I am not sure if we will find any internet over the next few days so if I can't comment on your blogs that will be why.

Art Journal Journey still have a few days left for the time theme challenge and it has proved a very popular one for sure with wonderful entries of all sorts of styles. 


I painted this with acrylics on a piece of card. Most of my craft stuff is in boxes already as we needed the craft space to store stuff so that the rest of the house looks tidy when prospective buyers come for a look round..

At Every Inchie Monday the theme is Pavilion. I must say that we get some very interestiong theme there and I love joining.

 

I did a cricket pavilion as it made me think of when I was child and we all used to go as a family to watch my dad play cricket every Sunday. Such wonderful memories for  me though the pavilions were never this spectacular.

    Two fabulous creations Chrissie love the journal and your painting is very lush....keeping the house tidy when trying to sell is a real pain....we did it around 11 times due to hubby's job, thank God we are stable now. Good luck...

    As much as I would love to move to a bigger place, moving is such stress and work... good luck!
    Love your painting with dynamic brushstrokes, reminds me of Van Gogh. The inchie subject was rather difficult this week!

    The painted page is wonderful - great recycling too! And I wouldn't have known where to start with Pavilion I don't think - but you've brought back happy memories of long summers listening to my mother and brother listen to the cricket (I was mostly reading!).

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life. Art Journal Journey are still drawing me in with the artists inspired theme so here is yet another page for the challenge there.  This was inspired by Damien Hirst though years ago I didn't feel inspired by his work at all when I saw some of it for real at the Liverpool Tate Gallery.
