Tag and Inchie

Good morning all from a wet and miserable NE UK coast. There will 7 of us for lunch today and I had planned on some people eating outside as we haven't a lot of room around the table. Now trying to think of a plan B and one isn't springing to mind at the moment so I am taking time out to do a post to my blog friends and thank you all for calling in.

The theme at Tag Tuesday this week is Photography

I used one of my photographs of a beautiful clematis in our garden. I layered it on various pieces of card and made a shaped tag to fit .

Every Inchie Monday Have yellow for this week

I used different shades of yellow felt and a yellow brad. I have to stitch quite a few together with the others before I lose them again.

Have a great day everyone

Love Chrissie xx

  2. Really pretty tag , beautiful colours. Love the yellow on yellow inchie - I've heard of white on white but who'd have thought yellow could do the same?
Hope your lunch goes well despite the weather. I was hoping to get the paddling pool out today...!!!

  8. Sorry about your rainy weather, Here in Southern Ontario, Canada it's stifling - it's been 30 degrees plus with high humidity for days - not sure I wouldn't like the rain better. Your flower is gorgeous = love the mats and your inchie is very yellow! Love all the tiny embellishments

  10. Yuck... yes, grey and gloomy in the S.E. too... do hope you worked out what to do with your guests in the end! What a fabulous photo of that beautiful clematis, and your layered frame sets it off to perfection. Yellow, brightness, sunshine, they all feel a long way off weather-wise, so it's nice to meet them beaming from your inchie!

  13. Lovely clematis photo & a 'bursting with sunshine' inchie! Sorry your weather is so awful, it was almost too hot here yesterday! I promise to try to bring some decent weather back with me later in August & to release a little in the NE as we will be spending a night in Wooler on our way back to Scotland.
