Things With Wings
Hello Everyone hope your week has gone well and that you are looking forward to the weekend. Thank you for dropping by to see what I have made for post today.
This is another page for Art journal Journey. I am really enjoying being the March hostess there and visiting all the blogs of the people entering. What an amazing collection of ideas and styles.
I found the wonderful image of the Cockatrice on a heraldic website. the dragon is a stamp by Abracadabra and the rain by Susi Rivers. The background is another one made by putting water in tin and dropping on alcohol ink then float the paper on top of the mixture. I made a few of them at the same time just dropping a different colour on each time to make them different.
Have a lovely weekend
Chrissie xx

Your water and alcohol effect is lovely. Another great collage.
ReplyDeletea wonderful page, and i LOVE this Dragon. never saw it as a stamp motif before.
ReplyDeleteLovely effect with the alcohol technique, one I have never tried! Great page.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, how dramatic! Must try that alcohol ink effect having seen how great your background looks. Jenny x
ReplyDeleteWowzer! The alcohol ink background is very cool (or very fiery if you prefer) and the cockatrice is brilliantly fearsome. I go straight to Richard III when I hear about cockatrices - his mother accuses her own womb of having brought forth a cockatrice - fabulously horrible!!
