Inchie

Hello Everyone. Hope the sunny is shining where you are as it is here on the NE UK coast. We went to the very big car boot sale that is held near to where we live on Bank Holidays. I did find a few things to alter for challenges so now I need to think how to alter them.

This week at Every Inchie Monday the theme is hot and I couldn't think what to do.

Then I thought of the wonderful dishes of Hot Pot that my neighbours used to make when we lived in Lancashire--I was from Yorkshire so hadn't had this before then. Anyone who watches Coronation Street will know of Betty's Hot Pot but I am not sure I have ever seen one of those close up.

    That is very clever Chrissie although I've never made one but it does look like a "casserole". I love car boot sales/garage sales, you never know what you might find :)

    I have to ask... what is a car boot sale??? isn't a boot what we call the trunk? Does it mean people sell things out of their boot? I love learning English!

    Back to the inchie. Totally unique idea. LOVE IT!

      Yes a boot is what you call a trunk. Originally the idea was for people to sell from hheir car boot but now it is big business and people set up huge stalls full of different types of things. I do enjoy walking around the one near to where we live as it has a lot of atmosphere with friendly sellers .

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life.
