Triplicate and Tags
Hi Everyone and thank you for visiting Jumbled Crafts. Welcome to Eileen my latest follower and she takes the number up to 149. Thank you to all of my followers, many have been with me since I started out my blog journey at the beginning of 2011 and it has been wonderful to get to know people along the way.
At Tag Tuesday our theme this time is Birds and nest and you still have until late on Monday to join us with your take on the theme.
I made a triptych with a painted background done in thick acrylic paint. The pictures I cut from a piece of wallpaper-it has three lanterns and three sprays of flowers.
At Go Tag Thursday this week the theme is Vintage

Not a tag from me today but a tale of this sweet little bird. We were sitting in our little conservatory reading and all was quiet when there was loud bang and the little bird fell onto the lawn after hitting the glass. It was there for ages but we waited and saw it open one eye then it stood for a while before flying up onto the fence. Next thing we knew it was off on its travels once again.
Moo Mania and More have triplicate as their theme this time.

I used a white card and did a cut out in one corner and sprayed parts of the white with Dylusions spray in. The picture I found on a free to use site and I added fancy edging. Then I added a piece of the wall paper that I used in the project before this one.
Have a great day Everyone
Love Chrissie xx
Wow - your Tryptich is brilliant dear Chrissie! Thank you so much for joining Moo Mania & More! What a pleasure to have you with us and with such a beautiful piece! The vintage tag is so feminine and I like how fabulous you used that lace on it. Lovely little titmouse - yes, they get blacked out for a short time often, when they fly against something.... always good to see that they haven't hurt theme.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful story about the little bird. Glad it was a happy ending for you and the bird.
ReplyDeleteYour triptych is beautiful. I love how you recycled the wallpaper and turned it into gorgeous art.
Your tag is also wonderful. I can tell that nothing goes to waste in your home. I'm sure others would have sent the excess wallpaper to the recycle bin, but you found the perfect way to incorporate it into a fabulous embellishment.
Oooh wow, love your new log header, very jazzy and fun xx

Love your triplicate and the Vintage tag is after my own heart! I had to check when I started my own blog, and, it turns out a month or so later than yours! I never thought this adventure would turn out the way it did, but I'm so glad I took the plunge.
ReplyDeleteLove these Chrissie, you must have known when you bought the wallpaper that it would come in useful lol. I'm so glad the bird is ok, I never clean our windows just so this doesn't happen to us ;-) It's good to be back home and catching up in blogland! Have a great week. Sue xx
