T is for Tuesday
Hi All and welcome to Jumbled Crafts.
A reminder that Try it on Tuesday has another week for you to add your tree projects so I hope you come along and join us.
Elizabeth invited me to join her and Bluebeard at their blog as I had done a collage all about coffee yesterday. On Tuesdays they host a get together that is drink related.
I made another piece so I could share a cup of tea with the other people that join in. What a lovely idea it is to have a get together if only a cyber one.
Today is Tag Tuesday day and the theme this week is Reindeer and Stags
Maybe you have the answer ;0)
Thank you for calling in
Have a great day
Love Chrissie xx
Lovely tag and enjoy your tea for two, perhaps you could make me a coffee?? Have a lovely day, take care and keep warm, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHello Chrissie Happy T day.
ReplyDeleteI love your T for two page, lovely china crockery.
Its a fantastic tag, but I have no answer to your question about the poinsettia, but how would Santa get to visit all the children without his reindeers to pull the sleigh.
Yvonne xx
Your Tea for Two is very elegant Chrissie.
ReplyDeleteNo idea about answer to your questions but loved Yvonne's answer-those reindeer certainly work hard each year don't they..
oh... and love your tag of course!
Thanks for the lovely comments yesterday.
Have a great day ... Gill xx
That's such a gorgeous tea piece Chrissie. I love it. And that reindeer made me smile. I think you are having a lot of fun! Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLovely Tea for Two page, the china is so delicate and refined - beautiful! Your tag made me smile, it's so much fun - I don't know the answers so will pop back later to see if anyone has the answers :-). Wishing you happiness this T Day! J :-)
ReplyDeletesuch a delicate and beautiful tea piece Chrissy. Adorable reindeer tag too! Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to T, Chrissie. So very glad you joined us, because this is a gorgeous first entry. I love your tea for two. The cups and saucers are so elegant, and the little birds look like they are ready to greet the recipients.
ReplyDeleteYour tag is adorable, and I'll go along with Yvonne on the reindeer. Poinsettia color is just modified leaves, although they are shaped like flowers. The flower is the yellow part in the center, but you may have known that. For some reason, it's called the Christmas flower because it seems to bloom about that time of year. Other than that, I can't answer that part of your question.
Again, thanks for joining us for T this Tuesday with your gorgeous tea spread and your tag that begs us to supply an answer to your question.
cute tag, how fun to put this question on it;) happy t-day, chrissie!
ReplyDeleteI love your tea-for-two piece and will gladly join you :) Such lovely cups. Happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteGreat tag! Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to T-day and the tea party Chrissie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful salute to tea you created.....so pretty.
Your tag and question made me smile.....yes, just how did they get there? LOL
Happy T-day, hope you continue to join us.
So glad you could join us for T Chrissie... Love your collage! So pretty and perfect for T ! Happy Happy Tday! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI love your tea for two - those beautiful little gold crests!! I have never had much luck with Poinsettias so I have no idea why, but Rudolph? He is needed on dark nights! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteLove the tea for two page Chrissie, such nice china too.
ReplyDeleteGreat tag, the question... reindeer, well Santa needs them to pull his sleigh, poinsettia, well I suppose they're pretty and brighten up a dark day.
Hugs, Avril xx
Your T for two card is very sweet and your tag super cute. Great that you could join us for a cuppa. As for your questions... I don't know about the poinsettia, but I agree with the others that the reindeer are Santa's reindeer as he is supposed to live in Lapland (Now where did that come from?) Or it might just be a Disney invention....
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day,
Thank you for your kind comment,
Lisca
Love your card Chrissie, very elegant, but your fun tag is my favourite. My poinsettias seem to do quite well as they thrive on total neglect (which is what they get from me). Christmas wouldn't be the same without Rudolph! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tea piece Chrissie, love the soft purple flowers. Your tag is so fun, I just love your felt reindeer!!
ReplyDeleteTo my best knowledge, the reindeer thing is actually a case of art influencing life. They became popular as a Christmas image because of the popularity of the poem "“The Night Before Christmas" by Clement Moore. The poem was published every year at Christmas, and over time, the reindeer just became an associated part of the holiday.
Hope that helps. hugs :)
What a cute tag!!!! Love the "Tea for Two" page also ♥ Thanks for joining us :)
ReplyDeleteoooh is that reindeer felt? Very cute . And your tea collage is perfectly English country garden-ish.
ReplyDeleteHi Chrissie. Love this gorgeous work here, the colours and added goodies are just perfect... Hope your day is good.xx {aNNie}
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tea page and I am having a cuppa with you right now! Loving your Christmas tag and the reindeer is so cute! Christmas wouldn't be the same without them or poinsettias! xxx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tea themed card and what a darling reindeer! Hugs, Autumn
