Journal Page. Tag and Inchie
Hi All and Happy Halloween. Not something I celebrate but local children seem to enjoy dressing up and knocking on doors so I do join in :( Thank you for calling in today and I have a mixed bag to show you.
Last day at Art Journal Journey for the Indian Summer/ Autumn theme that Valerie chose for October.
As Halloween is at this time of year I have made a Halloween page for today. It has been a great challenge with wonderful colours and great ideas.
Now to Always Use Rubber where you have to use a rubber stamp and ink. Not something I do often these days but it is good to delve into my stamps and try to come up something suitable The theme this time is Winter/Spring
For this tag I used 2 stamps and I don't know the makers of either of them. The skaters were in a bundle of stamps from Astrid and the row of trees I have had for years
If you know the makers please tell me and I will add credits to them on this posts.
Last but not least Every Inchie Monday where the theme this week is Coastline
So much wonderful coastline around the British Isle and a great variety to choose from.
Hope you enjoy your day
Love Chrissie xx
Lots to see today! Thanks for making another gorgeous page for AJJ, much appreciated. The tag and inchie are wonderful, too. Have a great day, don't let any vampires in! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWhat a colorful and enjoyable mixed bag today, Chrissie. I would gladly attend that wedding, but I don't see where it's being held (grin).
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely tag and those ice skaters fit the wintertime bill. Since I'm not much of a stamper, I applaud you and your stamping skills. I see time hasn't dulled your stamping ability.
How wonderful it would be to wake up to that view you shared in your inchie. You are so lucky. I live in the very center of the US (left to right and top to bottom), so there's no water within a 1000 miles of me, perhaps further. This is a lovely inchie today.
Its a fabulous page, loved your take on a zombie style wedding, I hope all the guests dressed up as well.
ReplyDeleteThe tag is wonderful don't know the stamps, I have many like that in a box.
Yvonne xx
p.s. The inchie is Fab as well
What a lovely and diverse collection of work! Thank you for sharing your beautiful tag at Always Use Rubber. I have that tree stamp too, unmounted like yours. I got it many years ago, it may have been an All Night Media or PSX one from a grab bag of discontinued designs or it might have been one of the sheets of assorted designs that a lady called Trish Bayley produced for a short time. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that.
ReplyDeleteThe view on the inchie is gorgeous - it must be one end of the country or the other, I'm guessing either Caithness or Cornwall?

Love your gorgeous make, your tag, inchie and most of all, the stamping. I seem to be going in that direction now but all the nice stamps I want are not available here and they don't ship to Australia, but I just love your makes.xxx {aNNie}
ReplyDeleteHello Chrissie, great Indian Summer/Halloween piece very Tim Burton esq. Your stamped tag is fabulous it is terrific that you will get those stamps out and get inky. You are good at it as well you know. 'fraid I do not know the stamps you have used but they look great. Thank you for sharing with us at Always use Rubber. P.S. I've explained to Jane where you live and how beautiful it is there. XOXO
ReplyDeleteNice post today. I am becoming full of Halloween but your page is original and different and I like it.

Nice work, Chrissie. I just love that vintage looking stamp on your tag, and your coastline looks very inviting!
ReplyDeleteGreat Halloween page, suitably spooky! I love your tag and, being a stamper it's my favourite, the children are a super Christmas image and the trees are classic, they will never be out of fashion. Great image for your inchie too...
ReplyDeleteA great Zombie paged Chrissie, and I love the tag too, great stamps, but don't know a maker. Lovely image on the inchie too.
ReplyDeleteAvril xx

ReplyDeleteYour inchie looks good in its shaped frame and yes, we are spoiled for a wonderful coastline in the UK.
The Halloween piece is fun and I'm only sorry I missed the wedding as it looks as if it would be interesting with the bats and the groom.
Nice tag too, I don't know this challenge so will go and have a look.
Hope you have a good week.
Lovely pieces today Chrissie, all so different and all fab! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat great post! Once again though it is your inchie that has me captivated! I love your tag and your 'scary' man too of course!! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I want to go to that wedding - scarily intense! - but I do love your wintry tag. The skaters are charming, and the coast inchie is great.
