Journal page and Inchie

Hi All. Thank you for visiting Jumbled Crafts today, always great when you call in.

Hope you have enjoyed your weekend and that you are looking forward to the week ahead. Today we are going to Scarborough to meet Vic's Aunt as she is staying there for a few days.

Back to School at Art Journal Journey with some terrific ideas and inspiration from Elizabeth who is the hostess for this month

The image of the girls is from Gecko Galz and it made me think of the first day back after the holidays when we all used to be bursting with news to tell each other and teacher. All more relaxed than when the lessons started. The background is a mop up page and I have run out of those so must get cracking on some more crafting with things to mop up.

Every Inchie Monday has Infinity in mind this week.

Mine isn't very original I'm afraid. Bet there are some wonderful ideas from other Inchiers.

    I love your AJJ choice today, and I was very impressed with the sentiment at the bottom. It was very original. Of course, I loved that you chose to emphasize returning to school after the holidays.

    Your inchie may not feel original to you, but I certainly liked it. It felt right to me. Hope your week is starting great!

    I was wondering if you have a gelli plate, Chrissie? You can make some really fun backgrounds with those in a flash (if you can bear to part with them, lol). I love how you used yours. Great inchie as well!

    There is only one symbol for infinity so I'm guessing that there will be quite a few that are similar this week! Nice AJJ page too :-)

    Love the image on your journal page, I remember those first day at school, wondering if anyone had changed or been somewhere exciting, or if I had had a new hair style. The infinity symbol will be popular this week. We are in St Ives today, with great weather.

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life. Art Journal Journey are still drawing me in with the artists inspired theme so here is yet another page for the challenge there.  This was inspired by Damien Hirst though years ago I didn't feel inspired by his work at all when I saw some of it for real at the Liverpool Tate Gallery.
