Journal Page

Hello Everyone. Hope your week has gone well and the weather has been better than it has here. It is more like winter than late Spring. Thank you for joining me at Jumbled Crafts and for your friendship and comments.

My crafting at the moment is mostly knitting but I did make a page for the new theme at Art Journal Journey where Mary C. Nasser has chosen the theme maps for this month.

My days seem to fly by so I thought I would do a mind map of yesterday to try to think where the hours went. Today will be totally different I image and it might be nice to start a new journal and do more of these maps to see where the time is going.

My sister in law is coming to stay with her Mum next week so I have knitted her a nice warm cardigan as she always seems to be cold when she comes here, also knitted a waistcoat for my MIL and a baby set for the baby that is expected next door to us. I do love to kn it and watch sport on television and today it should be Andy Murray playing tennis again later.:)

Have a beautiful day all

Love Chrissie xx

  1. What a fantastic idea with the mind map Chrissie - thanks a lot for that idea and for linking the page to AJJ and that cardigan is just beautiful!Wow.. it took me nearly a complete year to finish a cardigan for my father in law many years ago, because of such a complicated pattern I used...lol.
We got rain as well last night..had some quite nice days at last.
We only can dream of summer....
Happy weekend and better weather for you dear Chrissie!

  5. I wonder all the time where my days have gone, so I love the idea of your mind map... though I fear it would inevitably lead to me giving up some computer time. It was quite amazing in Poland recently (oh, by the way, I'm not new to that company, in fact they're possibly my greatest love in terms of what I get to do words-wise!) - where I had no internet at the small flat I was in, so any emailing had to be done in a coffee shop in the afternoon, and then evenings (if not at the theatre) were peaceful and free of computers and I slept so much better... a lesson I've not quite managed to apply at home yet.

The cardigan looks fantastic - love all that chunky texture. Sounds as though you've been a busy bee with the knitting needles.

  9. Now this is funny - I wonder what would happen if I tried to map my mind. I would probably get lost! So creative Chrissie.
You must have been a knitter for some time - your sweater is really gorgeous. It looks perfect!

  11. I LOVE your map Chrissie. It is really clever. And wow- what a gorgeous sweater. I love to knit and I once made a child's sweater with all those textured stitches but have never tried an adult sized one, but I think you inspire me to do just that. Have a great weekend! Hugs-Erika

  13. I am absolutely fascinated by your mind-map and spent ages looking at it. I must do one! I think it would reveal that, like you spent time looking for a DVD, I spend lots of time looking for things.
    Lovely jumper.
