I have another page for Art Journal Journey

This time I did a digital page


I started out using this wonderful photograph taken by Valerie, she takes so many wonderful photographs that inspire ideas for pages. Then I changed the photograph in Paint Shop Pro and added the beautiful Winter Maiden that was part of a tapestry my daughter made years ago. A few other bits and bobs and the page was finished.

Rain here for a change lol. Looks like a crafting day to me.

    Oh how true that Mark Twain quote is, and what a stunning digi collage to surround it. Valerie's photo is already beautiful, but you've given the whole piece a magical medieval feel.

    PS - As far as I can tell you're not on Google+. When somebody is, and you click on their name in a comment they've left then it takes you to their Google+ page. Yours still takes me to your Blogger profile, which I'm pretty sure means you're not a Google+er!

    I've never used Paint Shop Pro, but I've tried to use PhotoShop. the best I can do is watermark my photos. You certainly put Valerie's photo to good use, because this turned out beautifully. I can even feel the cold when I look at it. It's a wonderful piece of digital mastery.

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life. Art Journal Journey are still drawing me in with the artists inspired theme so here is yet another page for the challenge there.  This was inspired by Damien Hirst though years ago I didn't feel inspired by his work at all when I saw some of it for real at the Liverpool Tate Gallery.
