Art Book and inchie
Hello Everyone and great to have you join me for the start of a new week. I have taken advantage of a weekend rest from helping MIL and done some crafting which has been so relaxing.
Today at Every Inchie Monday we have the theme Exotic to think of.
I chose little love birds as my exotic inchie subject. I love to see them and how close they are to each other. I would like this to be a tribute to the people of Paris and to try to spread love to all
This is quite a large piece of beaded art that a fellow inchie friend has done as a tribute if you want to learn more about it you can go here
At The Mirror Cracked the theme for November is Water
I have made a cover for an artbook that I have had for about 25 years just waiting to be used.
The price says £3.95 which must have been quite a bit of money at the time it was bought
I covered the book with some spare pieces of paper I had and added a picture that I painted over 20 years ago when we lived in the Lake District and used to sit in this place on the edge of Ennerdale Lake with Pillar in the distance. The spaces around the painting I stamped with words from a set of stamp I got from Astrid.
Have a great week
Love Chrissie xx

I love your love birds, and the journal cover is great - the painting is beautiful - and that should inspire you every time you open it. So glad you had some creative time over the weekend - always restorative, in the midst of family crisis as well as in the face of the horrors of world politics. I hope creativity, imagination and love win out in the long run.

Both creations are so beautiful Chrissie ! This little inchie is adorable ! We were in France over the week-end, needless to say everybody is in shock... Our car was checked up twice in Calais and there were soldiers with machine guns... Such an horrible time for my country... Hugs, blessings and love from Catherine
ReplyDeleteParis is always considered exotic and a city of love, so your little birds are perfect. It's terrible that it had to be tainted with hate. Your friends beaded piece is great. Every time you open your art book to create you'll feel happy and at peace with wonderful memories and create beautiful art.
ReplyDeleteI loved your love birds. I raised several of them from hatchlings and they can be quite sweet. I guess I'm not the only one that buys things and tucks them away for years. Nice find and fun work.
