Journal Pages-painted and digital

Hi All from a very sunny NE UK coast. A very Happy Earth Day to Everyone. Hope the weather is good where you are. Thank you for calling in to see what I have made today. Firstly I will tell you I have made a real mess. I was having another go at the shaving foam technique and got the stuff everywhere. It was fun though.

At Art Journal Journey the theme is favourite poem or quote and at Moo Mania and More they have the theme butterflies this time so I will enter this at both challenges.


The background for this is alcohol inks on UPO paper. This is the first time I have used this paper and it does have lots of possibilities.
The stamps are from Joanna Sheen and Hobby Art and the quote I found on Google

My digital piece is for Three Muses where the theme is a book cover

I couldn't resist doing a fun one. The background I made from brushes in Paint Shop Pro and a leather effect. The image was from Google.

Off now to collect my new, new glasses. I hope I don't lose anything else especially when I only just got them a while ago.

    Love your humorous page about " Anna Conda"...lol and your amazing and lovely page on Yupo paper! I bought this kind of paper a time ago and yes ... it is amazing .. but I tried it out not enough yet - as it was quite expensive I don't dare to waste it..
    always the same with the frugal crafter inside me!

    Yes, I have seen the likes of Barbara Gray doing foam backgrounds on TV and all neat and clean but when I did it I needed a shower afterwards! I love your garden page and love that quote! Great book cover idea!

Tag and Journal page design

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life. Art Journal Journey are still drawing me in with the artists inspired theme so here is yet another page for the challenge there.  This was inspired by Damien Hirst though years ago I didn't feel inspired by his work at all when I saw some of it for real at the Liverpool Tate Gallery.
