Journal Pages

Hello to everyone who calls in at Jumbled Crafts and thank you for your visit. Foggy and cold today so far so time to do some crafting I reckon.

At Art Journal Journey this month the theme is Birds, Beast and Humans and I did two pages for today.


The first one is a digital page made with a background using one of Valerie's wonderful photographs--with her permission. It shows the Loch ness Monster and two owls wondering whether he could be captured-not a good idea I reckon.


The second one I painted and it shows how rubbish I am at painting birds. 
D minus-must try harder!

    Both pages are wonderful, and your birds are gorgeous, so full of character - I hope they visit my balcony soon. Love how you used the photo in the first one, I will have to see if I can spot something like the Loch Ness Monster in the Rhine, that would be great!. Take top notes for your lovely work!     I love your imagination... you moved Nessi to the Rhine - great idea for Valerie's fab photo!

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life. Art Journal Journey are still drawing me in with the artists inspired theme so here is yet another page for the challenge there.  This was inspired by Damien Hirst though years ago I didn't feel inspired by his work at all when I saw some of it for real at the Liverpool Tate Gallery.
