Vintage Card with die cuts

Hello Everyone. So pleased you could visit Jumbled Crafts and hope you enjoy what you find here today.

At Our Creative Corner the theme is a A Very Vintage Christmas with the twist of neutral colours as well and at Artful Times we are asked to use die cuts and punches.


Here is my card for both challenges. I made the background in Paint Shop Pro and then added some texture with a Cuttlebug folder The beautiful image is from here and I added another image at the base of it to soften the straight edge.

Next was some lace then some die cuts. The swirls are by Joy and the flowers a Marianne die. Sorry I didn't have any punches that would go with the card--most of mine are so old they stick or tear the card--all say Ahh.

    Such an enchanting card, Chrissie!

    Love all the wonderful textures you included with your gorgeous make!
    I know that problem with the punches too. Sometimes it helps punching several times through aluminium foil (the one you use in the kitchen) to sharpen them (at least it works well with scissors - so it might be worth a try).

    Oh wow Chrissie - this card is a gift all by itself! Just gorgeous, it reminds me of a collection I discovered in my Great Aunt's home after she passed away. You are so clever!

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life.
