Favourite craft in 2013

Hello to everyone who drops in today. So good to see you here when I know everyone is so busy getting ready for the festive season. We had a great day out at the Garden Centre yesterday and enjoyed a full Christmas Lunch there which was very good.

At the Craft Room Challenge this time they want to see what is our favourite thing we made this year. I always love making things and like as much variety as possible but this project really stretched me to my limits and I was pleased to see the end results. It may not be the prettiest thing I made but it was a challenge which is good I think.


It was made from recycled plastic bags and you can see how I made it here

Must say I enjoyed trawling through all the things I have made the last year and it is a great idea for a challenge.

    I remember this, and being completely betwattled at your patience, skill and the fabulous results! A great favourite - as you say, something that stretched you, but something so original too!

    I remember Von knitting one of these before i moved so I know how practical it is. Love how you got colour contract into yours its Brilliant and small wonder this is a favourite.

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life. Art Journal Journey are still drawing me in with the artists inspired theme so here is yet another page for the challenge there.  This was inspired by Damien Hirst though years ago I didn't feel inspired by his work at all when I saw some of it for real at the Liverpool Tate Gallery.
