Challenge 8 at Out of a Hat-vintage lace

This week at Out of a Hat the challenge is to use vintage lace on your project. I haven't made any cards for a while so I thought it would be nice to make one for this theme.

Sandra sent me the beautiful lace when we first opened Out of a Hat and I have been waiting for a special time to use some of it. The clock, corner and butterfly stamps were free with the 2nd edition of 'Cardmaking in Easy Steps', together with a lot of other stamps and 212 card elements.I didn't count them but it said on the front of the magazine :). The picture of the lady was from a free vintage picture site and the bow I made in Paint Shop Pro.

Distressing around the edge tied it all together and I am quite pleased with it in the end. Then a few little pearls



Always lovely to craft with Janet, Sandra and Florence and see what they make for the challenges.

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog.
