Out of a Hat Challenge 2 Entry

This week at Out of a Hat we have the challenge to do something with a box.

I save allsorts of boxes and particularly the many tablet boxes that I get from the pharmacy

The white one is the one I chose to change
First thing was to take it apart-then I used cream emulsion paint all over it and a few drops of raisin coloured alcohol ink worked into the emulsion while it was still wet. Next spashed it all with water and dabbed dry with kitchen paper.
All read to make into a box again now.

Added a bit of ribbon attached to a brad at one end and stuck that end to the inside of the box. Cut off the other end and made an open topped box to fit inside

Here it is finished box and a little bag of Thortons Chocolates just fit nicely inside making it already to give to someone as a little gift.
