T is for Tag Tuesday and T Day

Hi All and a warm welcome to Jumbled Crafts. Thank you for calling in.

Happy T Day to anyone who is visiting from Elizabeth's post. Everyone is invited just do a drinks related post on your blog and link it.

This was taken at the end of Southport's very long pier where there is a wonderful cafe / amusement arcade with all the old penny machine favourites. You buy old pennies and then try to beat the old machines. Being in holiday mood we gazed out of the amazing sloped window at the beach and ate a cinnamon bun with mugs of coffee.

Today we start a new challenge at Tag Tuesday and this time our very own Michele has chosen Animals as the theme. She has also managed to offer a prize from Lunagirl so pop over and have a look at what you could win if you enter the challenge with your animal tags.

Another of my sewing attempts and I think I may be improving at last. The image is from Laila Ansbergs. The pages of animal images were dated 2009 and are ones that my daughter gave to me when she gave up paper crafting. The flowers were cut out from some left over wall paper.

Hope to see your makes for the challenge and a big thank you for all who have supported us so far since Valerie changed the way Tag Tuesday operates. It is all going so well. You have two weeks for your challenge makes.

Have a great day

Love Chrissie xx

  2. Love the look of your wonderful cinnamon rolls and coffee, yummy, and such a nice place to sit. Your tag is gorgeous, the stitching looks fab. My machine had a little hitch yesterday and wouldn't stop, even after I took my foot off of the pedal, I had to switch it off! I think it was just too hot for anything to work properly. Have a nice day, hugs, Valerie

  3. Wow, you sew so much better than I, and I've been sewing paper to paper since 2008. I never get any better, but it looks like you have mastered it. And of course, I love that you left the threads hanging. That's what gives it character. The little piggy is cute, but the sewing and wallpaper flowers steal the show.

I so enjoyed your trip to Southport and this fun look out the restaurant was wonderful. Those cinnamon rolls are really making me hungry. I'll join you with a cup of coffee right now, although mine has gotten cold.

Thanks for sharing your tag, your cinnamon rolls, and your coffee with us for T this Tuesday.

So glad to hear that you still read 'real' books and i'am not alone in that... I think if i had to go digital i would probably not read.. Happy T day hugs! deb

  10. The stitched frames look perfect to me - including the wiggly corner - it's those touches of imperfection which make it wonderful. And the pig is adorable.

Mmmm - cinnamon - best flavour of all for me!

It looks like our house could be on your photo somewhere as we live opposite Southport on the other side of the sea ... lol! 😀 Your tag is so cute, I love the little pig and the background looks fabulous with all the stitching - perfect!
