T stands for Tuesday
Hi All. Wet,wet, wet here the last few days so not the weather for walking along the sea front but we did just that yesterday. This meant we were cold and wet so decided to pop into Wetherspoons for coffee, bread and marmalade. Always a great place to people watch and such a variety of people as well.
I thought I would show what we had at 'T is for Tuesday' at Altered Book Lover where Elizabeth invites everyone to join her on Tuesday for a drinks related venture.
I forgot to take a photograph but this a pic I made up using the Wetherspoon menu. It was all very welcome and warming.
My Christmas Cactus is looking really lovely and full of buds. One of the flowers has decided to take off on its own while the others are keeping closed.
Hope you visit later to see what the new challenge is at Try it on Tuesday
Thank you for your visit
Love Chrissie xx
Looks like a great snack while you were out, yummy. Your Christmas cactus is looking great. Have a happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

Good for you still taking a walk in the awful weather we are having. The Wetherspoon stop must have been very welcome.

a perfectly warming snack after a damp walk for sure! My mom has a Christmas cactus that is many years old now and still blooms so beautifully. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteIt appears you found the perfect spot to warm up after a cold wet walk. Our Christmas cactus isn't blooming yet and seeing your beautiful photo makes me anxious to see blossoms on ours.
ReplyDeleteI love to people watch and you certainly can't beat marmalade on toast - delicious! Your Christmas Cactus is amazing, the flowers are so pretty and colouful. Your post is a beautiful way to cheer up a grey and rainy day, thank you :-). Wishing you a Happy T Day! Jo x
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Wetherspoon's, but it looks warm and inviting from your lovely spread you created using their menu. I'm sure it was the perfect stop on a cold and wet day. I'd take some toast and jam to eat with a cup of warm up coffee, cocoa, or cappuccino.
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas cactus is gorgeous. I had one, but apparently I don't have a green thumb, because it died after about three years. Yours is simply out of this world.
Thanks for sharing your lovely cactus bloom and your trip to Wetherspoon's with us for T this Tuesday. Hope you're now warm.
Oh Chrissie you make me miss my Christmas cactus!!! I had to let them go when i moved from CA....And with all the house renovations i haven't bought anymore... i need to one of these days... They are alot easier to grow than people think... Happy happy Tday! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteoooo, tasty!
ReplyDeleteI had a Christmas cactus long ago, but flowering houseplants don't tend to do well for me. Yours is lovely :)
Happy T Tuesday
What beautiful pictures of your christmas cactus. I am going to buy one next week. A local shop is going to have them in next week and I have my eye on one.
ReplyDeleteYour bread and coffee look yummy. (makes me hungry).
Happy T-Day,

What a great way to warm up - worth a soaking! I don't have a Christmas cactus any more, it didn't seem to like summer on our balcony! Eyeing one up though! Hugs, Chrisx

ReplyDeleteI think your bread and marmalade looks yummy, but I would ave preferred Tea. Still, it sounds fun to walk along the beach in the wet weather an then have a little warm up snack and people watching. My cacti are looking like yours too. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteYour meal looks so yummy! I do love a pretty Christmas cactus. So bright and cherry at a time when everything else is brown and grey. The cats killed mine so I am still debating on whether or not to replace it. Happy T Day!!!
ReplyDeleteMy Christmas cactus might turn out to be a 'Thanksgiving cactus." I love that hot pink color-gorgeous! yummy looking goodies in your digital art....Happy Autumn!
ReplyDeleteLove your Christmas cactus! We don't have that tradition either here. The flowers are amazing!Your meal is superb my frined!Much Love!
