Christmas and Circles

Hi All. Thank you for your visit today.

We are back home again after a good few days when we fitted in so may things even though the weather was rather bleak at times. We went over to the west coast and it is always wetter there than our east coast. Nice to be back in the sunshine again for sure.

I made these before I went away and I am looking forward to all the new challenges that usually appear on the first day of a new month.

At Fussy and Fancy the theme for this time is My Favourite Things.

I love to use Die Cuts and the card and layers are shaped with Nestabilities. I also like to use Rangers Distress Inks and especially around the edges of things as I have done on this card. Another favourite of mine is making my own flowers. These ones are knitted.

Now to Frilly and Funkie and the theme there at the moment is Going Around in Circles.

I decorated a bag. Firstly painted the bag with Distress Inks and made a panel to stick on. The stencil I used is by Imagination Crafts and called Lacy Swirl. I then coloured it in the same Distress Inks as I used on the bag. The circles were also the same colours. A few extra embellishments to finish it off.

Have a great weekend

Love Chrissie xx

  5. That is one fancy bag, Chrissie. It is a gift itself. And speaking of gifts, that card is incredible and would be a true gift to whoever is the lucky recipient this year. Those flowers are WOWSER.

Even before I read a word, I thought "Chrissie has a die cutting machine." Those Nestables are incredible. WELL done, dear.

Now I want to read about your holiday (grin).
