Journal Pages
Hi All nice to have you call in at Jumbled Crafts and thank you for your visit. It is hard to believe that the weekend is here already as the week has gone very quickly.
Art Journal Journey's 'If you go down to the Woods' has lots of terrific entries and so much variety.
I used one of my own photographs for both of these pages but tried different effects on each.
The rabbits arranged an Easter egg hunt. Whoever found the most eggs could have the big egg in the tall tree-wonder how that got there? Mr Fox turned up and stockpiled a lot of the eggs so has his eye on the big prize.
This is deep in the woods away from prying eyes and is where Rudolph spends his time waiting for his big day in December
Enough of the frivolity and now for something even more frivolous :)
Here is Vic modelling my latest knit for Cat Protection.
Have a beautiful weekend
Love Chrissie xx
ahh Chrissie, a bit of Easter, Christmas and Vic....what else could one ask for, all look gorgeous.xxx
ReplyDeleteWell, you are ready for all seasons today. Lovely journal pages, thanks for joining us at AJJ and Vic looks great in his cat scarf! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteLove your Easter hunt piece!! That kitty cat scarf has stolen the show for me, what a fabulous make, love it! happy weekend :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an amusing post, Chrissie! Your pages are full of fun images. Both are great alteration from your photos.
ReplyDeleteThe cat scarf is most nice. I adore it.
Have a wonderful weekend xx
I have had a huge smile reading this post Chrissie, your woodland pages are magic and fun, I hope they all got a share of the eggs.
ReplyDeleteThe scarf that you have Vic handsomely, modelling looks fabulous. You are so good making these unusual pieces.

p.s.
Are you watching the Rugby, we are.
Yes watching the rugby..hope the second match is better than the first and the third one even better :)
DeleteLove Chrissie xx
I love your sweet pages dear Chrissie! Thank you says Art Journal Journey - your ideas are really appreciated ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteThis scarf is brilliant.... wow.... Vic is a very cool tomcat model....lol!
I laughed and laughed at both these altered photos. I worry about the bunnies in case the egg doesn't please Mr. Fox and he goes for more "meaty" rewards.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea this is where Rudolph spends all his time (other than the big day, of course). So glad to learn that. Enjoyed all the lights in the tree, too.
REALLY liked that scarf. That will truly be a money grabber. Your daughter is SO lucky to have you making all these things for her and the very lucky cats.
Love your journal pages- that egg hunt page is really really clever. And I love your knitting. I just got a book with scarves like this-maybe its the same book-but I haven't tried any yet. This came out fantastic. Hugs! Erika

I can't stop smiling at seeing these pages! I love the Easter Egg hunt, but especially pleased to know that Santa doesn't spend his whole year in the cold! I love your scarf - another best seller surely! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI like your Easter landscape. However, my favorite is the cat scarf you made for vic… I want one. Have a blessed Easter, my friend!
