Inchie and Journal Page

Hi All. Just got back from a wonderful weekend away in Saltburn. We had never been there before so enjoyed exploring all there was to see in the area. I hope you had a great weekend and thank you for calling in at Jumbled Crafts.

At Every Inchie Monday the theme this time is Shell


I have used a real shell I found on the beach. I stuck into flet and added some bling.

At Art Journal Journey they still want to see quotes or poems this month.


I did this digital journal page before I went away but didn't have time to post it. I used part of a Degas painting and one of his quotes.

    I just love tiny seashells. I wish I had some to add to an inchie. Like your digital page as well.

    I do hope your visit to the sea was as lovely as it looks like it could be. Glad you got a natural souvenir and you blinged it up! I think your journal page is very fine--I've always like Degas' ballerinas and his quote is perfect. Thank you for helping me to see. Have a brilliant day! c

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life. Art Journal Journey are still drawing me in with the artists inspired theme so here is yet another page for the challenge there.  This was inspired by Damien Hirst though years ago I didn't feel inspired by his work at all when I saw some of it for real at the Liverpool Tate Gallery.
