Tag and Scrapbook Page

Hello Everyone and a welcome to Jumbled Crafts. Thank you for making time in your busy lives to pop by.  Very dark and wet here again today so I guess I will be doing some crafting. Also I am knitting a cardigan, doing a 1000 piece jigsaw and going to watch the Grand Prix on television. Wonder if I will fit in a trip to town as we do need some shopping sometime?


At Tag Along this week the theme is Transport.


I have had this bicycle digi image for a long time so thought it would fit this challenge. It is from Beyond the Fringe and was free. The background is stamped with gears from a set by Chocolate Baroque and the mounting card for the digi stamp was made in Paint Shop Pro.

At Craft-Room Challenge this time the theme there is Forest Friends. Beautiful samples and inspiration from the team there as always.


I decided to make a scrapbook page as my scrapbook is very neglected and hasn't had a new page for ages.

The photographs are all our own. The carved tree we visit often and have seen how it has changed over the years. It was a tree that was due to be chopped down but a local artist rescued the bottom of it by carving the deer family. The peasant was in the snow and looked more colourful in real life with the forest floor beneath its feet. The fox cubs photograph was taken by my SIL and she sees the fox family quite often when she goes for walks.
The paper is used is a digital paper from here and the bird stamps are by Personal Impressions. The Letter and Numbers stamp set is by SEE D's and is called Large Swirl.

I am linking this to Art Journal Journey as well where the theme is Living Beings. Some wonderful entries there and all gathered together in a gallery by Susi. Well worth a visit

    What a magic page your woodland walk is. Love that tree it is wonderful seeing how artists up and down the land are turning these old trees into totems. It is grey an damp here just down the road from you as well today, perfect crafting weather.

Hi All. Thank you for visiting today and I hope you like what you see here. A fine bright day but colder today so I may fit in a walk later though I had some curtains to make before I do anything else. At Tag Tuesday this week the theme is Diva. I don't always remember to show my tags for there as you need to be a member and and do your own posts on Tag Tuesday's blog. I chose Elizabeth Taylor as my Diva she was so beautiful in films but definitely a Diva in her private life. Art Journal Journey are still drawing me in with the artists inspired theme so here is yet another page for the challenge there.  This was inspired by Damien Hirst though years ago I didn't feel inspired by his work at all when I saw some of it for real at the Liverpool Tate Gallery. Collage and Journal Page

Hello Everyone and thank you for your visit to Jumbled Crafts. I am in limbo bat the moment as my daughter had a operation yesterday and I am going up to Cumbria to look after her when she gets back home. Still not a clue when that will be but, I may go tomorrow anyway, as there are few trains from here to where she lives.  I want to be sure I am there for her return home. Not a clue when I will be back in Blogland so this may be my last post for a while. A collage of my entries for last month at AJJ Just spent an hour making a mixed media piece for Art Journal Journey where their new theme is For the Record. The host this month is Linda  and I am sure the theme she has chosen will be very popular as we are asked to think of a song that has inspired us in some way I have chosen a Burt Bacharach song that always made me so happy way back in the 70s. Journal Page and Altered Box

Hello All. Hope your week is going well. I am enjoying a quiet week as the Care Home is still closed to visitors. I have been knitting lots more Twiddle Muffs as word is spreading that I am making them and people are asking if they can order one. I am not charging for them but may have to start asking for a small donation as the things I add to them have all run out now so I will need to buy some more. Art Journal Journey have 'If You Go Down in the Woods' and it is going well indeed This is a revamped version of a digital page I created way back in 2005. At the time I had a passion for painting my own fairies-afraid this one looks as though she is wearing baggy knickers under her tights :) It is so funny to find old folders with things I made a long time ago but I will enjoy changing them a bit I'm sure.  I am joining in at Dragon's Lair Challenge Blog where they have a grid for you to choose a line I chose Pink, Box and Bow as my line I covered a box for Easter as
